DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE

Description
The wrong operational amplifier was installed in the controller on the involved vehicles. If a certain capacitor in the controller should fail, the brakes on the axle on which the controller is located would fail. The brake warning light which would normally indicate a malfunction, would also be inoperative.
Consequence
Corrective Action
The dealer will inspect and, if necessary, remove incorrect controller and install a new controller and wiring harness.

Description
On the involved vehicles, the fifth wheel may have a cracked tube. A cracked cross tube may lead to failure of the fifth wheel.
Consequence
Corrective Action
Dealer will inspect the tube for cracks. If necessary, the fifth wheel will be replaced, without charge to owner.
